Clairvoyance[]
This is lifted straight from The Magician's Dictionary by Edward Rehmus. I suspect this is a copyright violation and may require speedy deletion. Pope Hildegard (talk) 14:55, September 13, 2016 (UTC)

Channeling[]
Channeling is up for deletion because it appears to be a copyright violation. If it is it will be speedy deleted. Author notified. Pope Hildegard (talk) 15:13, September 13, 2016 (UTC)

- AGAINST THIS TAKE DOWN PLEASE CITE WHAT VIOLATES COPYRIGHT LAW. Please be specific, I believe you're in the right but I need you to find the actual law. Karlbarx (talk) 08:50, September 14, 2016 (UTC)
- In almost two dozen articles, you posted content lifted word for word from The Magician's Dictionary by E. E. Rehmus that was published in 1990. As Rehmus died in 2004, unless the law changes the book will remain under copyright until 2074 in the United States, 100 years in some other countries. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copyright_law_of_the_United_States for information on U.S. law. You can do your own search for other nations. Pope Hildegard (talk) 15:14, September 15, 2016 (UTC)

Don Juan[]
Speedy deleted for copyright violation. Pope Hildegard (talk) 15:52, September 13, 2016 (UTC)
- Against the take down. I posted it a few days ago again.... I'm in the process of creating it. OTHERS are welcome to contribute if you're not doing the great DON JUAN A DISERVICE!Karlbarx (talk) 08:47, September 14, 2016 (UTC)
Rev. Janor Hypercleets[]
Considering the amount of copyright violations that have happened very recently, this looks like another one. But I couldn't quickly verify it, so will give the author a chance to show if it isn't. Pope Hildegard (talk) 16:36, September 13, 2016 (UTC)
- I posted to ask Rev. Janor Hypercleats on Facebook if this is OK. Miley Spears Discordian American Princess (let's talk) 22:29, September 13, 2016 (UTC)
- Shit I hope he reads this lol. Against the take down. Karlbarx (talk) 08:43, September 14, 2016 (UTC)
- We'll wait for a while and see if we get a response. Until then the Delete tag can remain. It will make it more likely Janor or someone else who could help will see this. Pope Hildegard (talk) 15:03, September 15, 2016 (UTC)
I'm completely against removing Janor from this wiki. He was a driving force back in the day, a major inspiration, and arguably the most "subgenius" Subgenius that ever lived. To remove him would be criminal-- and the only ones that would win under such an act would be The Pinks. I know someone who still keeps up with, if there are any questions he needs to answer. I don't see any copyright violations on his page though. That sounds completely misguided. (unsigned comment was made 22:47, 17 July 2023 by Monsterwax)
(As the subject was contacted in September 2016 and did not express objection in the intervening nearly seven years, the article remains but has a copyright notice at top.) Pope Hildegard (talk) 20:21, 30 July 2023 (UTC)
APOCATASTASIS[]

- Against. I don't think it needs to be deleted just rewritten from what's on Wikipedia. Miley Spears Discordian American Princess (let's talk) 22:17, September 13, 2016 (UTC)
- Against the take down. I'm not the only one who is able to edit. The article should stay. Wiki liscense is valid. And its relevent.Karlbarx (talk) 08:42, September 14, 2016 (UTC)
- As this doesn't appear to be a copyright violation, and as I'm the one who posted the delete tag and it is not supported, I will remove it and replace it with a Construction tag. Pope Hildegard (talk) 14:42, September 15, 2016 (UTC)

- This has had major edits since starting in February. I believe we can remove the delete tag. Miley Spears Discordian American Princess (let's talk) 22:31, September 13, 2016 (UTC)
- This is my own page. You have a Pope Hildegard Page you combined with Miley Bulldada. Space Pope for life. Its more original content from me. If you hate it then you hate me. AND I bet you kind do right now. Karlbarx (talk) 08:40, September 14, 2016 (UTC)
- I don't hate you. During the over three hours I was fixing your edits, I wasn't too happy with you. But I am assuming your edits were made in good faith.
- No page on this Wiki is my page. All pages belong to all of us. But to clarify, this Wikia has no policy against vanity articles. We welcome articles about oneself as long as they fit SubGenius Wikia Clench. Pope Hildegard (talk) 14:54, September 15, 2016 (UTC)

Other Deletions and Works in Progress[]
I speedy deleted about two dozen articles for copyright violation all by the same editor. I'm too tired after three hours of dealing with deletions and Works in Progress to list them all right now, but I will later. For now, see them at Deletion Log. Pope Hildegard (talk) 17:39, September 13, 2016 (UTC)
- Three hours? I couldn't handle that. Thanks for doing all that! Miley Spears Discordian American Princess (let's talk) 22:12, September 13, 2016 (UTC)
Black Magic[]
Just found and speedy deleted another copyright violation from The Magician's Dictionary. Pope Hildegard (talk) 15:56, September 20, 2016 (UTC)

All of these articles were taken from The Magician's Dictionary by Edward Rehmus (E. E. Rehmus) which was published in 1990. The same editor posted these articles without attribution and without showing they had permission to post here. By default, in the United States (which is where Wikia is hosted), copyright remains in effect for 70 years after the death of the author. Rehmus died in 2004, so copyright would be in effect until 2074.
If the original poster or anyone else shows that they have legal permission to post these here, or legal documentation that they were released into the public domain, they may be posted. (Proof means legal proof. It does not include, "I saw a copy of this book online for free.") Even if this does happen, the editor needs to also include the source--we don't believe in taking credit for other people's work. And, by this site's policy, the editor would need to adapt them to this site unless they're presented as quotes. These same rules for writing that you should have learned in high school. Pope Hildegard & Miley Spears[]
This is a rather odd case. User:208.54.4.232 apparently attempted to put a Delete tag on this article but it was slightly misspelled or not in the right form as you can see here. Then User:Karlbarx removed the tag. The article was not changed between the attempted Delete tag and its removal, meaning the tag should remain. It's been edited since, but no decision on the original Delete tag has been made. Therefore I put it in Category:Delete and am posting it here for discussion. I will notify User:208.54.4.232 on their talk page. Pope Hildegard (talk) 21:51, September 27, 2016 (UTC)
- AGAINST. Vanity articles are a part of this site and were before Hildegard or I even started here. The founder himself has an article. You can write an article about any card-carrying SubGenius and you don't have to be a SubGenius to write it either. This is "Wikia the Home of Fandom." Miley Spears Discordian American Princess (let's talk) 02:45, September 29, 2016 (UTC)
- OPPOSE. The Overmind created this wiki on 8 March 2012 and started xyr own vanity article on 9 March 2012. Vanity articles are a grand and glorious tradition of this website Praise "Bob" and "Connie!" Just try to take away my vanity article and see what happens! - COMMENT. I await reasons from User:208.54.4.232 for the proposed deletion (or by another user) before I'll give my opinion on this. A decision will be made in a week. Pope Hildegard (talk) 21:56, September 27, 2016 (UTC)
