Dogma

Buddy Christ, star of the movie Dogma

Anything any SubGenius ever says, either by speaking, writing, typing, or even just thinking it, automatically becomes new dogma for the Church of the SubGenius. The F.I.B. of Faith In "Bob" is a very important part of SubGenius dogma. So are both pamphlets (Pamphlet #1 & Pamphlet #2) as are the 3 holy books: The Book of the SubGenius, Revelation X, and The Subgenius Psychlopaedia of Slack: The Bobliographon. The movie ARISE! is also all SubGenius dogma as well. Also, because both authors of the Principia Discordia became ordained SubGenius ministers, it is likewise SubGenius dogma because of who wrote it, even though it is actually a sacred text for a different religion, the Discordians. Although The Fightin' Jesus is a SubGenius, the Christian Bible is not SubGenius dogma, because it was written by other people such as Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, rather than Jesus himself, and all of the times they quote Jesus he's actually misquoted.

A small, elite number of crazy kooks who are no longer alive, such as Stanisław Szukalski and Francis E. Dec, have gained approval of the SubGenius hierarchy and of "Bob" himself and been made Saints in our church, and their works are now official SubGenius dogma even though they never joined the Church of the SubGenus.
