A decision on this issue will be made one week from posting, on 26 November 2015 when another editor expresses an opinion on this issue (this change is by request of the nominee JoX the Bobtist). This is not a vote but a request for consensus. See Forum:Who Decides.
I propose we elevate User:JoX the Bobtist to Secondary Editor/Secondary Voter by Forum:Who Decides.
The current two secondary editors have this:
Ivan Stang: named user, 100+ productive edits, active for one month+, familiar with the website's focus, added image(s) to article(s)
PatrickCunningham: named user, 100+ productive edits, active for one month+, created article(s), uploaded image(s) to site, added image(s) to article(s)
Compare to:
JoX the Bobtist: named user, 100+ productive edits, active for one month+, familiar with the website's focus, consistently worked to follow Wikia policy, created article(s), performed site maintenance, uploaded image(s) to site, added image(s) to article(s)
By badges, Ivan has 440, JoX has 260, and Mr. Cunningham 210. Nothing against Mr. Cunningham, but 100 of his were random because he happened to make the 6,000 edit on the website. - COMMENT. I would agree with this with one, possibly two, changes. I would strike
established long-time SubGenius (1 year+). As it says in Forum:Who Decides, "Important: None of this is meant to be taken negatively. For example, if under a user you do not see "established long-time SubGenius", that does not mean that user is not a long-time SubGenius. It merely means that user hasn't demonstrated that on this website." You may well know JoX as a long-term SubGenius as may I, but JoX is not established to "the new Church" or by posts to this website under that name.
