One of the major schisms in the Church of the SubGenius is between the Holocaustals and Ivangelicals. The Holocaustals believe that the humans will all be killed on X-Day as the prophecies by J.R. "Bob" Dobbs foretold. The Ivangelicals believe the surviving humans will be suitable slaves after X-Day as Connie Dobbs foretold.
The Holocaustals were originally led by Papa Joe Mama, but due to the ongoing absences caused by his secretive experiments in planetary realignment, most of the military strategies were conducted by Dr. K'Taden Legume. Upon Legume's untimely death, the extinction of Earth's pink population became somewhat in doubt. However, enigmatic signals from the high command suggest this is only false hope to put them at ease.
