The phrase "One Of Us" is often chanted by assembled SubGenii upon the ordainment, induction, cherry-popping, "Bob"tism or other indoctrination of a newly-realized, recognized and paid-up SubGenius. It comes from a revealing scene of the classic 1932 film Freaks[1], wherein the normal trapeze artiste is being accepted by the titular freaks.
The PreChurch movie portends the Coming of the "Bob" and of "Connie", and was a favorite of the Early Church. The Early Church initiated new members by reciting the phrase "gooble gobble, gooble gobble, we accept you, one of us."
