Purple Ferret's Nest is the third created chapter of Shamlicht Kids Club aka Slackful Kids Club, and is the first formed after Shamlicht Girls and Shamlicht Boys merged. However, it uses the name Smagmoid Kids Club, after the Crow who says Smagmoid (which inspired the creation of Ek-sen-trik-kuh Discordia: The Tales of Shamlicht through a dream vision).

History[]

Shamlicht Boys, founded in 2005 by Captain "Sesame Seed" Rogers, and Shamlicht Girls, founded in 2005 by Sister Hooter, merged on 3 Oct. 2007. Shamlicht Al and Minima formed Purple Ferret's Nest and became its first nestlers (leaders) on Saturday, 24 Nov. 2007. The charter nestlings (members) were Koko Kitty, Rosey Tiger, Harry Monkey, Joe Monkeyshines, and Bumper Bunny. The nest was in Napping Birch Tree (where the crow said Smagmoid, inspiring the dream vision), which in turn is in Astronut Grove, which is a part of Forest USA. The "Ferret" part of the name came from a ferret that lived with some of the founders.

Faunrise, Ram, and Slick Pigeon joined the club in May 2008, becoming the first non-charter members. It wasn't required, but all members named themselves after animals.

The group celebrated its 10 year anniversary with a party including a swim party on Black Friday, 24 Nov. 2017. Nest Roving Bear, a nest for kids in higher grades, split from it on 17 Feb. 2019. Due to the pandemic, the group became inactive in early 2020. It became active again on 2 July 2022 when Leo and Walrus Nest merged with it.
