The Fightin' Jesus, a.k.a. Rev. Jesus Christ Devilacqua a.k.a. Steve, is an ordained SubGenius minister who helped The SubGenius Foundation, Inc. avoid bankruptcy at one point by becoming its business manager. He is married to a famous UberFemme, Rev. Magdalen. In his original incarnation, he was the Christian savior who died on the cross in 33 A.D. Now he's come back as a SubGenius, in the Second Coming of Christ, as prophesied in The PreScriptures, and has been a loyal servant of the Church of the SubGenius in order to atone for his past-life sin of creating the Christian religion almost 2000 years ago.
