Toyalla
Toyalla is a linguist and a charter member of the Church of the SubGenius. She is also one of the first of the 20th century Discordians. She is said to be a Homo floresiensis woman with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men.
Toyalla was reportedly born on Route 53 on Normatown Road. However, some claim she was actually born thousands of years earlier.
Professional life[]
The original cross design used by the Early Church of the SubGenius was revealed to JoX the Bobtist and Toyalla.
Specimens gathered by Toyalla and JoX were classified by two malacologists, Toshio Hokusai of the University of Hentamoto and Dana Kingston of Miskatonic University, as Shokushulu hentais. This is commonly called the Great Plains American Prairie Squid, or Great P.A.P.S.
Toyalla earned a PhD in Linguistics from Miskatonic University.
She later worked with Vampirologist Dr. Sinister Craven. Toyalla and Craven, a Miskatonic professor, published an Esperanto translation of a book written in a mixture of languages that was long believed untranslatable. This was Der Librum de Vampyric Histroika. The title in Esperanto became La libro de la historio de la vampiro, published by Corpsicana Press, in 1976. Unknown to the publisher, in the translation the two inserted veiled references to the Second Coming of the SubGenius "Bob" which predicted the Church revival in 1979-1980. Also unknown to the publisher, in the translation the two inserted veiled references to the Deities Eris, Aneris, Spirituality, Shamlicht, and the yet-unborn Goddess Miley Ray Cyrus.
Toyalla also deduced the name of the Discordian prophet Eristotle. Toyalla noted this is an anagram of 'Loti' and 'Ester,' which mean 'small' and 'star.' This led to a small "star" planet being named Eris. Toyalla's prediction was unfortunately ignored by SubGeniuses in the 21st century who thus failed to get the planet named "Bob".
Along with Dr. Philo Drummond, Rev. Ivan Stang, Dr. Sinister Craven, and Barbara Dobbs, Toyalla is said to be or have been one of the Keepers of the skill of a PreChurch Prophet of "Bob" called Binky the WonderSkull.
